Lakeland Theatre Presents Gifts to Local Groups -

Lakeland Theatre Co presented the funds raised for local children’s programs, John 3:16 C.A.R.E. in Littleton, Haliwa Saponi Tribal School in Holister and Lakeland Theatre Youth Workshop and Children’s programs in Littleton, during their Board of Director’s meeting last evening, April 19th.   

“Show Me The Love” musical review held Valentine weekend at Lakeland Theatre raised $3479 with the support of our community which was shared between the 3 groups.   


Presentations were made by Nancy Grueneich, Director of “Show Me The Love” to Sid Shearin John 3:16 C.A.R.E. Board Member; Steve Hyman, Teacher and mentor at Haliwa Saponi Tribal School; Marcy Keim, 2017 Young People’s workshop Director for the Lakeland Theatre Youth Workshop and Children’s programs.

"SHOW ME THE LOVE" FUNDRAISER WILL BE HAVING LOCAL VENDORS SELLING THEIR HAND MADE & HAND CRAFTED ITEMS FOR SALE.

THE ITEMS WILL BE ON DISPLAY IN LAKELAND'S DANCE STUDIO. THE SALE TIME ON FRIDAY & SATURDAY NIGHTS ARE FROM 6:30-7:55 AND DURING INTERMISSION FROM 9PM-9:20. SUNDAY'S SHOW SELLING TIME WILL BE 1PM-2:25PM. 

COME CHECK OUT OUR LOCAL ARTISTS AND BUY LOCAL.

  • Sarah Bolduc Designs - Paintings - Sarah Bolduc - will be painting cards during sessions.
  • Main Street Produce - Bill Hock - wine, etc – tasting
  • American Legion Auxiliary, Littleton,  Contact is Randi Klein. They will have 2 quilts on display as well.
  • DeJesu Designs - Pat DeJesu Jewelry, necklaces and ear rings.
  • The Turned Bowl - Tim Stone - lathe turned bowls, covered boxes, vessels, tea-lite and candle holders, and yarn caddies
  • Unique Stained Glass - Madeline Ramsey - glass plates and bowls, jewelry, utensils with torchwork beads made one at a time in a torch, and traditional stained glass panels
  • Turtle Creek at Lake Gaston - Lisa  - preserves and candies
  • Blue Heron - Art - painting/drawings - Ev Wesson
  • Messy Bun Creation by Renee Walker - specialty knit hats
  • Amanda Coffman - DoTerra Essential Oil natural bath and body products.
