Lakeland Theatre Company and Virgin Atlantic Vacations announce the Lakeland London Trip, which take off on March 27, 2011. The trip will feature guided tours of The Tower of London, Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre, Hampton Court Palace, and Westminster Abbey, a trip on the spectacular London Eye, and tickets to see a West End show, (their equivalent of Broadway). Visit the British Museum, St. Paul’s Cathedral, Parliament, and the British Library; hunt for bargains on Portobello Road and in Brighton; walk two blocks and see Covent Garden, the National Gallery, the National Portrait Gallery and Trafalgar Square; the possibilities are endless, and most of your time is your own to decide your own itinerary! Extra time in Paris is available also for those who are interested!

The price of $2295.00 per person (double occupancy), includes round-trip airfare from Raleigh-Durham, airport taxes and the hotel, three one-half day tours, and 8 days and 7 nights at the Strand Palace Hotel (in the heart of London’s Theatre District) or equivalent lodgings, and a continental breakfast each morning. An extra trip included in the price is a one-day excursion to Stonehenge, Bath and Windsor Castle, too! Places are limited to the first 40 paid travelers, so please don’t delay your decision and miss your chance to go!

A deposit of $500.00 per person is due at Lakeland before October 15, and full payment is due by January 10, 2011. Come with us to London and bring your sense of adventure!
