Lakeland would love to partner with your organization to raise
money! Your friends and group members get to see a great show and raise
your public profile while also raising money for your group!
Here’s how it works:
You and Lakeland Theatre Company decide which show your group wants
to come see. We strongly suggest you do this about 2-3 months ahead,
especially if your group is a large one, so that you have time to sell
tickets. We can also (possibly) schedule a special performance night for
your group if it is large enough.
Once you’ve decided which show to see, we’ll authorize you to start
selling tickets and collecting money. We can do this with vouchers, or
you can have your members take reservations through one of your key
members. Tickets sell for $15.00. (You can sell them for more if you can
convince your buyers that it is a fundraiser, but that’s the regular
price for a show here.)
We’ll call your contact person and get a final count, then make
seating arrangements when payment is made. We do require that payment be
made with one check or a credit card. Last-minute additions can also be
made, but the best seats get snapped up quickly, so the sooner we get
payment, the sooner we can assign seats!
On the show date, we’ll call a representative of your organization to
the stage prior to the show, and present him or her with a check from
Lakeland Theatre Company for the benefit of the group. The breakdown
works this way:
- For 30-50 tickets sold: $3.00 per ticket goes to you.
You sell 40 tickets and your group gets a check for $120.00.
- For 51-99 tickets sold: $4.00 per ticket goes to you.
You sell 80 tickets and your group gets a check for $320.00.
- For 100-200 tickets sold: $5.50 per ticket goes to you.
You sell 150 tickets and your group gets a check for $825.00.
- For 201-328 tickets sold: $7.50 per ticket goes to you.
You sell 300 tickets and your group gets a check for $2,250.00!
For large groups, we can also arrange pre-show, intermission, and
post-show receptions and other special recognition activities. Just let
us know what you’re thinking and we’ll try and make it happen!
