To Kill A Mockingbird. (Play) "To Kill A Mockingbird"
is truly a much loved and critically-acclaimed play. It is a perfect
portrayal of childhood innocence, racial prejudice, moral tolerance
and courage. No other words can describe this play except marvelous.
This is a must see for anyone of any age. |

Smoke on
the Mountain. (Musical) The year is 1938, and the people
of Mount Pleasant, NC are about to be treated to a night with the
Sanders Family Singers. It's going to an "upliftin'
evenin' of singin' and witnessin'," accompanied by hilarious
stories and popular hymns, too. The show provides a richly
entertaining evening that has audiences all over America clapping,
singing, laughing, and cheering! "A charming and funny
celebration of Americana." |

(Special Event) The School House Rock bunch will win you over

May 19. Julie’s Taps & Tutus Spring Recital.
(Special Event) Established in 1995, Julie Mason and her students are now
a tradition with Lakeland audiences and the entire community. Join her and her
students as they show off their skills! |

Pump Boys and Dinettes. (Musical) On Highway 57,
somewhere between Frog Level and Smyrna, stands a gas station. Next
door is a roadside eatery called the Double Cupp Diner. The four guys
at the station have been known to do some auto repairs, but only when
aided by quantities of time and beer. The Cupp sisters celebrate their
home cooking with the same zeal they bring to being neighborly with
the boys. This is their musical tribute to life by the roadside! |

Rumors. (Play) Rumors chronicles the 10th
wedding anniversary of a New York City official and his wife.
However, the happy occasion soon sours -- the deputy mayor shoots
himself in the head, (it's just a flesh wound), his wife is missing
and his lawyer, a guest at the party, decides it's time for a
cover-up. More guests arrive and soon nobody can remember who has
said what about whom. The cover-up unravels in a storm of slamming
doors and hilarity. |

School Musical. (Special Event) This musical is the
final product of an intensive Young People’s Workshop. This workshop
will focus on every aspect of theatre. Open to young people 11 years
old and up, the workshop will run June 26 through July 29. |

Witches. (Play) A young boy is vacationing with his
grandmother when he discovers that the hotel he is staying at is
hosting a convention of witches. He learns that the Grand High Witch
has devised a plan to turn all of the children in England into mice. |

Sanders Family Christmas. (Musical) If you liked
Smoke on The Mountain, you're going to love Sanders Family
Christmas!! The year is 1941 at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church in
Mount Pleasant, North Carolina. The enthusiastic Pastor Melvin
Oglethorpe enlists the Sanders Family Singers in his efforts to
bring his tiny congregation into the modern world. |

December 20. Julie’s Taps & Tutus Christmas Recital.
(Special Event). There is always dancing, singing, and a generous dose of holiday
humor when Julie’s students “strut their stuff” on the Lakeland stage. Great costumes,
great music, and guest soloists make this a community event not to be missed. Share in
the joy of accomplishment with Julie and her students of all ages! |

December 22. The Lakeland Singers Christmas Concert.
(Concert) The Lakeland Singers ring in the holidays with a blend of traditional and
modern Christmas favorites. Be sure to put a song in your heart for the holidays with
this final event of the Lakeland season! |
